Many years ago, my brother gifted me a 1940s Royal Quiet Deluxe Typewriter. I use this wonderful machine for the sole purpose of drafting and sending inane letters to my siblings. The letters below are a continuation of this tradition.

Despite the brilliant sunshine pouring in through the windows, the day is dark. The approaching spring mocks us with every budding flower and chirping bird.

COVID-19 dominates the home school curriculum like it does the headlines. And students are finding out just how much better they had it at school.

The fresh breads and desserts we learned to bake during quarantine cease providing comfort. They betray us and are now counted as a leading cause of stress.
“Beard”
Usually reserved for the dark months of winter, the beard makes a comeback during quarantine. The ol’ lady might let it stick around.
